Sour Cream Pound Cake

3 c. sugar
2 sticks real butter
6 eggs- yolk and whites separated
3 c. flour
¼ teaspoon soda
¼ teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup sour cream

Cream together sugar and butter. Add six well beaten egg yolks. Shift together flour, soda, salt, and baking powder.  Add to other ingredients.
Add sour cream. Fold in beaten egg whites with other ingredients.
Bake at 325 for an 1 hour and 25minutes.
